ASHLYN: A few weeks ago Terry was eating an ice cream sandwich. Ashlyn came down the stairs and saw it. So of course she wanted one. Terry didn't want her to have one so he told her that they were treats for grown ups only. And that ended it. Well today, I was just talking to Ashlyn telling her how beautiful she is, and I told her she was going to be even more beautiful when she grows up. Out of nowhere she says, "yeah, and when I am grown up I can eat one of those treats that are black in the white and blue paper that daddy eats." I was totally confused. So me and Terry were thinking about it, then remembered that he told her ice cream sandwiches are only for grown ups. And yes, they come wrapped up in a blue and white paper. We thought it was sooo funny that she remember that Terry told her they were only for grown ups. Maybe you just had to be here, but we really thought it was funny!
ASHLYN: The other day at church, Terry and I were standing outside the primary room with our class, while waiting for the younger kids to come out. As the little kids started piling out, each teacher that came out stopped to tell us that Ashlyn was sooo cute during singing time. Each of them told us that they could hear someone's voice over the top of everyone else's. They finally realized that it was Ashlyn. So when we got home we asked Ashlyn to sing for us the way that she sings at church. When she sang, it was not singing at all. She was literally yelling the words. It was not cute at all. So I can only imagine what the the teachers think when she sings every Sunday!

BLAKE: The other day Blake went to his friend Dallin's house after school. When I went to pick him up, Ashley (Dallin's mom) said, "I didn't know Blake was allergic to peanut butter." I said, "He's not." She told me that for lunch, she was getting the boys some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and Blake told her he was allergic to peanut butter. So he convinced her to make him a turkey sandwich instead (his most favorite thing to eat). She didn't question his allergy cause if a 5 year old knows what allergic means, then he must really be allergic. When I told her he lied, she thought it was just histerical! Lets just say Terry and I are in big trouble, cause at 5 Blake is already a very good liar!! -5 years old-
